YOGA THERAPY
Our therapists have over 20 years of experience in the practice of authentic, traditional Yoga techniques. This therapy includes Hatha methods, breathing exercises, and simple forms of meditation. The Hatha exercises have two components. The first is physical, and consists of moving into and holding the body in specific postures that energize and harmonize. The second component is subtle and energetic. The shape of that posture serves as an antenna for a particular kind of beneficial energy. Both components are held for a certain amount of time.
How it worksAt the beginning of the session, the client will share with the therapist the aspects they wish to bring into harmony. These can be physical, emotional, or mental. Together, they will set the goal of the session, and the therapist will put together a list of Yoga techniques suited to fulfill that goal.
After this initial stage, they will go through that list together in practice, with the therapist demonstrating the correct method of execution and explaining the effects.
By practicing the techniques as guided, you will already feel much better after this first session. The minimum duration of a session is 30 minutes. However, in order to stabilize and deepen these beneficial effects, it is necessary to also practice at home.
What comes nextThis form of therapy is the most practical and offers the client the greatest degree of independence. In practice, you can come to a single session and receive all the keys you need. Then you can apply them yourself in the intimacy and comfort of your home.
That said, you may notice that:
- it is harder to stay disciplined at home;
- you discover new aspects you want to improve;
- you simply want to learn more.
In these cases, you are welcome anytime to come back for a new session at EliSara.
This way, you can:
- relax;
- energize yourself;
- find balance;
- grow inwardly through the traditional practice of Hatha techniques.
